If we have learned anything from the recent weeks in our country, it’s that the church is indeed, NOT a building, but wherever we go to meet with God! Here are a few ways you can fill your home with the spirit and invite the Lord to be with you in the comfort of your home.

      1. Begin each day with quiet time. What a blessing it is to have a break from our normally busy schedule. Whether you’re doing a daily devotional or taking some time to read the bible, open each day by going to a quiet place to be with god. We encourage you to keep a journal during this time to take notes and set intentions for your daily prayers.

      2. Have musical worship time at home. Create a concert in your living room by streaming music from worship stations, or finding your favorite worship teams on YouTube. This new song from Elevation Worship is a great song to get the spirit moving in your home.

      3. Find creative children’s bible activities: School isn’t the only thing our children are missing during this time. Take a break from math and science to do some bible themed coloring pages, or activities online!

      4. Connect with your church family online. We may not be able to share hugs or shake hands at our weekly meetings right now, but we have many other ways to connect! Be sure to check in with your church family on Facebook to share encouragement or prayer requests.

      5. Livestream Sunday Service. Thankfully, we can share our Sunday service with you via live stream each Sunday. Join us on Sundays at 10 (in your pajamas, hooray!) for some insightful teaching and worship. It’s a great time to reset our intentions for the week and find purpose in our current circumstances.
